My name is Doreen and my primary "passion" is African violets. However, I also love miniature sinningias and streptocarpus. Sometimes, I try to grow petrocosmeas and Chiritas, but not successfully. I also belong to the Gesneriphiles listserv and enjoy "lurking" since there are so many experienced and erudite contributors on that list.

I hope that on this list we can share our successes and failures and learn from each other.

A stunning collection of gloxinia   

I have about 12 to 15 that I've started from seed.  One was ready to flower but I moved it out of high humidity to the light table, and it didn't like the fast switch so the flowers dried up.

For now I'll just have to look at your wonderful flowers!
